Last Sunday was the 3rd time Helmi and I attended to a obedience trial (TOKO) in class OB1 (ALO) and got our third 1st prize and the title TK1.
After doing our part, I took my camera out and took some photos from classes 2 to 4 (AVO-EVL).
For our suprise, our team won 2nd prize in team competition. Here’s Helmi with the beautiful prizes we got for our team:
Today started slowly, but finally I got to my studio and started sewing a new background. Today, my visitors were quite unusual and special – 2 of my friend’s 3 cornish rexes.
I have to admit – I have never photographed cats so this was once again – first.

On the second day of our trip to Taivassalo, the weather was foggy and cold because the ocean was so close by.
Jenni went to train Tuh and Tem with the sheep and I wanted to try if it was possible to catch any photos with low light and fog between.
I just finished with my Friday’s set of images. Topic was herding and there were 4 bordercollies doing the work. Some of them did it for the fun (seniors Una 9 years and Wekku in respectful 11 years of age) and some for training (Tuh and Tem, latter went to herding trial on Sunday). Once again it was fun and well worth of the back pains I got while photographing them laying on the field, doing push-ups and torquing my upper body to positions it shouldn’t move to :).
Weather could have been better, the sun wasn’t shining at all (ok, there were some short moments when there were little more light) so it took a little more effort from my part to get the fast movement documented bright and sharp :).
Images are scattered little bit around the gallery:
Saturday’s pictures are little more trickier, it was raining all night and on following morning, everything was wrapped around in thick mist :). We’ll see what came from those.
